Just a reminder-Memberships expired 12/31/09---You may join or renew on-line and print your membership card immediately. We are also asking new or renewing members to tell us if you want to be included in the BOAF membership directory/mailing list or you may choose to opt out. Please be sure to visit and update your profile on line. If you have forgotten your user name and password you may click and it will email it to you immediately.
The Building Officials Association of Florida (BOAF) and the Florida Association of Plumbing, Gas and Mechanical Inspectors (FAPGMI) will hold a joint Annual Education & Trade Expo for 2010. The Conference will be held June 6-9, 2010 at the Hyatt Grande in Tampa Bay, 2900 Bayport Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607. Make your hotel reservations by calling 1-800-233-1234 or 1-813-874-1234. Single and Double room rate is $139 per night, Triple occupancy rate is $164 per night, and Quadruple occupancy rate is $184 per night. Please note the room block cut off is May 5, 2010.

The next BOAF Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 25 and Friday, March 26, 2010 in Lake Mary.
2010 Site Seminars schedule and Foundation Cross-Training courses will be posted on the education page as they become available.
Don't miss an opportunity to meet your continuing educations requirements with the State of Florida. Courses are AIA and FBPE approved in addition to BCAIB and CILB. Architects and Engineers please join us for training. Go to the Education page to register or get more course information.You may also download a registration form and fax to the BOAF office.
Effective November 16, 2009, the Florida Board of Engineers has amended the seal requirements for professional engineers and now allow the use of a rubber stamp seal or the like. Following is a link to the Board website disclosing this new rule: http://www.fbpe.org/
