Code Development Committee Meeting Update

Dear Chapter Leaders:

Please review and give us your feedback and input, and that of your Chapter members, on a report of the discussions and work of the Code Development Review Committee from the first meeting on June 18-19. Please click here to read the report. I am asking you to critically review the information and to share it with your members and then to respond with comments.

To date, we have gathered input from many members, but we hope that this process is ongoing and that you continue to provide feedback as our committee shares its work with you.

You will note that the committee took the time to define what we believe are “core values” of the code development process as a way to guide our work and discussions as we move forward. With that in mind, I would ask that your comments reflect the same, or alternatively, suggest other values that we may have not considered.

Also, please keep in mind that this report is simply a draft of the work and not a final report or work product, as we certainly anticipate that this process will continue to evolve within the committee and with your help.
