Notice to All – As you should all be aware, Governor Scott issued Executive Order 11-01 right after taking office which prevents the Boards from entering into rulemaking at this time. In accordance with this action, the Building Code Administrators and Inspectors Board (BCAIB) has cancelled the Rule Development Workshop previously scheduled for February 16, 2011 in Fernandina Beach. This workshop was to hear the issues related to the provisional building code administrator certificate. As this issue progresses, we will keep you up to date with the information as it becomes available.
