Partners
PartnershipsPartnership: A relationship between individuals or groups that is characterized by mutual cooperation and responsibility, as for the achievement of a specific goal. Over the past six months we have been working on developing partnership agreements with a number of old friends. These agreements are designed to benefit both BOAF members and our partners, by sharing information as we train together and solve problems together. Here are a few examples of projects BOAF has been working on:
ICC- Joint publication marketing and educational programs supporting education on Florida Building Code
FHBA - Joint education provider for building code training for contractors and building inspectors at twenty locations around Florida, funded by a grant from DCA through BASF
FAPMGI- Joint Annual Educational Conference and Trade Expo
FFMIA- Joint education provider in Maitland and Kissimmee on Understanding the New Truss Law in December
AIA-Florida- Disaster response and recovery support agreement and a task group working on training sessions on common issues such as design professional area of practice and minimum standards for design documents
FLASH- Federal Alliance for Safe Homes, Inc. www.flash.org
Together we can reach farther and accomplish more.
