E-Mail Discussion Group
The BOAF email discussion
group is used mostly by BOAF members. Users include Building Officials, Fire
Officials, Inspectors, Plans Examiners, State Regulatory Agencies, and Industry
Representatives just to name a few. If you have a question and
someone will probably respond.
Please note
that advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are
inappropriate on this forum. This is not a email discussion group to promote
specific companies products, a specific group membership, or any other type of
advertisement. If you want to use the BOAF web site for these purposes, please
contact the administer and we can arrange advertisements etc...

group to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory,
inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually

Please keep your anti virus program updated
if it is determine your email contains a virus you will be unsubscribed
and not allowed to post again until such time as it is determine by the BOAF
that you have taken steps to remove the virus.
BOAF also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we
know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any
message posted by you.
One final note:
Please conduct yourselves responsibly. Code
interpretations can sometime be contested. Please disagree without being
disagreeable. We reserve the right to close threads, delete threads, or suspend
users.
WARNING:
Apparently there an issue with
BLACKBERRY
users receiving numerous duplicate emails. Our system is showing
only one copy being sent out however the issue appears to be a problem with
BlackBerry forwarding system and scripts. It is highly suggested that you
provide a email address that is not connected with your Blackberry.

Many
governmental agencies have placed a block on a boaf.net email address
because it been used by scammers in the past. If you do not receive an
invite within 3 days first check your junk email folder and if not found
there, check with your IT department to see if it has been blocked at their
server. It is suggested that if all else fails use a non governmental
email address to request your invite.
