Education Foundation Classes Foundation Classes
These classes are designed to provide participants with a thorough familiarization of the subject matter. For that reason they are a great foundation for newly licensed inspectors, inspectors participating in the cross training program, applicants preparing for an exam, and inspectors that need a refresher. Courses are being scheduled at various locations around the state thanks to the effort of the local chapters helping us find training sites and promoting the courses. See schedule below for foundation class offerings. Classes have been well attended, so if you are interested make sure to register early.
Foundation class overview:
Class begins at 8:00 am and usually end around 4:30 pm.
Books to bring to class.
Building Inspector class bring 2007 FBC, with supplements, 2007 FRC, 2007 EBC and if possible the 2009 IBC.
Building Plans Examiner bring 2007 FBC and 2007 FRC.
Plumbing Inspector & Plans Examiner bring the 2007 FPC and 2007 FBC.
Electrical Inspector & Plans Examiner bring the 2007 FBC and 2008 NEC.
Mechanical Inspector & Plans Examiner bring the 2007 FMC and the 2007 FBC.
You may also bring your highlighters, pens etc.
